Welcome to Koshbook. These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Koshbook mobile application (referred to as the "App", "Service", or "Koshbook").
By downloading, installing, or using Koshbook, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the Service.
1. License to Use
Koshbook grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited license to download, install, and use the App on your mobile device strictly in accordance with these Terms.
2. Acceptable Use Guidelines
You agree to use Koshbook only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes. You shall not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or exploit any portion of the App's source code or assets.
3. Data Ownership and Backup Disclaimer
Your Data is Yours: All ledger entries, credits, debits, categories, and account logs you record are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to, host, or back up your data.
Backup Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up your device and data. Koshbook, its developers, and affiliates are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or database recovery failures resulting from device malfunctions, operating system updates, app uninstallation, or formatting.
4. No Professional Financial Advice
Koshbook provides transaction logs, ratios, visual graphs, and basic database analytics. All generated tools, calculations, ratios, and outputs are for informational tracking purposes only. Koshbook does not provide investment, tax, legal, or professional financial planning advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
5. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, visual layouts, graphics, database designs, and code within Koshbook are the exclusive intellectual property of the App's developers. No ownership rights are transferred to you under this Agreement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koshbook and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of personal data, device failure, or financial miscalculations) arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your license to use the App at any time without notice if you fail to comply with these Terms. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the local laws, without regard to conflicts of law provisions.
